SUPPORTING LEARNING Series One Plus workbooklets are an exciting development for students working around L1+-2+ of the NZ curriculum and help build valuable skills on from Series One and towards Series Two/NCEA L1. These booklets introduce some L1 style tasks to build on from Series One and extend some tasks up towards the higher end of L2 to create pathways.
Series One Plus booklets add depth to basic skills with the potential to link into subject specific areas or use as stand-alone booklets. We have added in valuable material to support students in key subject areas or students working in mainstream classes needing level appropriate tasks while embedding literacy, thinking, social and problem solving skills in each booklet.
The TECHNOLOGY strand is supported with booklets Design It (hard materials and softer materials) and Upcycle It. The ARTS strand is supported by the 6-section booklet A Creative Mind as well as the Explore It bundle. PE/HEALTH can enjoy exploring hauora in A Healthy You and Confidence Plus while LITERACY areas can focus on the multi booklet bundles in Read It. Write It. Speak It and Research & Present It. So much choice to add engaging learning in curriculum areas!
